Traditional System Risks

Traditional systems have MS-Windows and application software running on each production computer.

Which makes recovery from a significant malware outbreak very long and very expensive.

Even failure of a computer motherboard can be extremely disruptive because of the MS-Windows installation and setting-up inefficiencies, plus licencing and activation requirements.

Indo & IWAS Robustness

Our systems are entirely non-Windows, and are extremely well-hardened.

Thus making the risk of a malware outbreak negligible, and so our main risk is that of hardware failure.

In our world it's simple to have complete back-ups of computers and to restore onto new hardware. Activation rituals aren't required.

Our user interaction is via a web browser, so if a production-line User-Interface computer fails then anything that has a web browser can be used instead, until the normal machine is operational again.

See the Example page for more insights into the robustness.
